  • Graduated from the University of Gent, Belgium in 1975, majoring in applied geology.
  • Over 30 years of international experience in base- and precious metals exploration and project development mainly in Africa, Europe and South-east Asia.
  • Involved first as exploration geologist, geochemist and/or chief geologist and since 1989 as consultant in projects which resulted in the discovery and/or initial development of a number of base- and precious metal deposits, including (not exclusive) Perkoa (Burkina Faso, zinc), Kiere and Kwademen (Burkina Faso, gold), Dialafara (Mali, gold), Al Uweynat (Libya, gold), Southern Tuscany (Italy, gold and antimony) and Bleyberg (Belgium, Zn and Pb).
  • Member of, among others, the European Federation of Geologists, the Prospector and Developers Association of Canada and the Society of Economic Geology.
